Further to the intrepid travels, travails, even of Don Anticant……….in the Hotel were three Americans.
naturally i asked immediately where they came from……the Mid- West…..with pride.
Later I asked the lady if they had not had enough of Wars…………..Oh.said she. Only the wrong sort of wars. Huh ??
Later. Waiting for the Boat Trip, a Very Fine Example of current American Intelligence Boomed out that
‘We all all safe Under The American Flag’
Buried at sea ……….Uhuh ???

neither Don Grumpy Aunt or his enforcer heard about the safety that the Flag endows or we would have been in ‘Like Flynn’ to the redneck.
We were well pissed off at missing the opportunity.
His thought was rather mild in that he would have said ‘You may be safe , but you have made us less safe’.
Needless to say, the words of The Merkin would have been somewhat less polite and his mention of the carnage in various parts of the world may conceivably have led to carnage in a beautiful area of Italy.
Sunny days, nonetheless.

Welcome home you wayward and suntanned souls. You have been missed. Who the hell let the mid-westerners out of their cages anyhow and more importantly still, who the let them into Italia. Good on ya for staying civil, I know what a temptation it must have been to ‘let ‘er rip’.
Looking forward to hearing more about the adventure.
Things have been fairly slow around here these days as you can see. Enjoying taking a bit of a hiatus. So much going on right now that is just too depressing to even think about let alone blog on.
So.. welcome back, take your coats off and stay a while why don’t ya?
